In 2012, the total online advertising market in Ukraine will be 680 million hryvnias. This was demonstrated by a study of pan-Ukrainian Advertising Coalition, reports proIT.
Of the total online advertising revenue in 2012, 340 million hryvnias were spent on a banner advertisements, 160, and 180 million for contextual advertising and Digital Services, respectively.
It is noteworthy that video advertising on the Internet in 2012 brought 22 million hryvnias income.
Analysts believe that the main drivers of market growth became context (including video and mobile component), advertising, social networking, traffic solutions for e-commerce.
"The format video advertising surely gained momentum in 2012 and has a good chance in 2013 to take a share of about 10% of banner ads. Youtube potential activation will also lead to a significant increase in Google video advertising. Despite the fact that we lack tools to assess video-component in context, we believe it is necessary to begin to allocate a share of video format to display advertising " – is considered in the coalition.
According to experts, the Ukrainian Internet market in 2013 is to reach 917 million hryvnias.
