Ukrainians spend about 2 million a year in iTunes App Store

Ukrainians spend on games and accessories for iPhone and iPad about 2 million dollars per year.

The specialists of PrivatBank have arrived at the following conclusion, having analyzed the volumes of payments in App Store from plastic banking cards as the public affairs section have informed.

For the last 12 months the owners of the PrivatBank cards have paid for the purchases over 970 thousand dollars. Taking into account that almost half of the whole Ukrainian market of plastic cards belongs to this bank, total amount of expenses of Ukrainians spent in App Store is about 2 million a year.

According to the bank assintants, average check of the Ukrainians in App Store reaches less then $7 – for the last year the amount of purchases rose up to 140 000 at the total sum of $970 thounsand. As a rule Ukrainians buy games and accessories for iPhone and iPad most of all in January, March and September, least of all – in February, August and November.

PrivatBank has also informed that with the opening of the Ukrainian App Store the volumes of the bank clients payments have risen up to 20% in July 2012 in comparison with June and have crossed the average monthly indicator of growth of 7% for the last year.
