Ukrainian electronic commerce market keeps growing

According to experts, the national IT market will reach this year's turnover of $ 1 billion. However, if we compare the performance of the whole market with the world's largest single online shopping, it even loses it.

From 2010 to 2011, e-commerce market in Ukraine grew by 20%. Growth rates, according to experts, are respected in the current year. For our country, this development is a good indicator. But in comparison to other markets, we lose even single resources. For example, the annual turnover of the Chinese site Alibaba.com is 1.02 billion dollars, and the South American Mercadolibre.com - 4,8 billion. If we compare the figures with the world's biggest online trading platforms, Amazon.som and Ebay.com should be called in the first place. Only these two individual Internet giants already make up 8.7% of global e-commerce market with a turnover of nearly 60 billion dollars. A Japanese resource Rakuten.com also has considerable turnover of 12.9 billion dollars. This is the money of  13 Ukraines' turnover.

However, even a billion dollars, according to experts of AllegroGroupUkraine which will be in the turnover of the Ukrainian e-commerce market by the end of this year is an achievement.

Money movement online is greatly affected by the Ukrainian mentality. People do not often hurry to buy on the Internet, as numerous polls have shown. In the best case  the user reads online reviews and looks at a product, but buys it offline. To buy online Ukrainian ventures only in individual cases. However, every year the credibility of electronic payment facilities and online services is growing, which gives hope for the development of the national market.
