Ukraine to prohibit selling of medicines via Internet. Government Plenipotentiary for deregulation of economic activities Mikhail Brodsky presented this information on his blog.
According to him, the Committee had been working a year round on the Draft Law On Internal Trade, including the issue of legalization of e-selling.
Mr. Brodsky admitted that the greatest problem of e-selling lies in so-called one-day sites, by means of which fids of rubbish and adulteration are “off-loaded”. As a result of such a pseudo-business, absence of any warranties and liabilities legally acting e-shops, which sell quality products and pay all taxes are affected and, finally, they are not able to compete with unfair business practices.
Government Plenipotentiary told that he has developed a special norm in the Draft Law that bans e-selling of medicines. “I’m inclined to think that such rules should be developed for the e-shops as well, because when you order a little puppy and they deliver you a bear, it is not good. And if this happens to you, you start considering this problem and the advocacy of small business quite otherwise”, - Mr. Brodsky emphasized.
