The minimum wage has been increased by 25 UAH
From 1 October the minimum wage in Ukraine has been increased by 25 UAH (approx. $3,1).- reaching 985 UAH (approx. $123). Аfter tax deduction – about 800 UAH (approx. $100).
This is the fourth increase of minimal salary this year, which as of January 1 was 941 UAH (approx. $118). But not the last: on December 1, the wage will be at least 1004 UAH (approx. $126).
Also Ukraine's Finance Ministry has offered to raise the minimum monthly wage in Ukraine in 2012 by 9.4%, according to Oleksandr Shnypko, the director of the ministry's social finance department.
