During the next two years MANGO to increase twice the number of Ukrainian shops and to offer its client two new concepts: shops of men clothes MANGO HE and accessories MANGO TOUCH. The goals towards Ukraine, set by the company, now are not limited with million cities and concerns also regional centres and towns with population up to 200 thousand citizens. «In cities with population from 200 to 800 thousand citizens we propose to open not more than one shop, whereas in million cities there could be even three-four shops. Even eight shops together with several corners may work in the capital. The corner is a special concept with area up to 100 sq.m, it is three times smaller than ordinary shop’s area (250-350 sq.m). They are successfully used in shopping malls for selling clothes», - the representative of MANGO in Ukraine and CIS Yulia Selivanovskaya told.
The first shops of MANGO ТМ appeared in Kyiv and Odesa in 2000. «At that time retail market in Ukraine was represented by the limited number of monobrand boutiques of foreign fashion-operators, Yulia Selivanovskaya tells. – The country itself was both of the utmost interest and a great risk for development of international trade networks. The latter was stipulated by certain economical, political reasons, long-term isolation, the culture of «primitive market shopping» and the lack of awareness of brands, which long ago have won recognition in Europe and USA. But at the moment 13 shops have been opened in the capital and regional centres by the efforts of MANGO team and its partners». One can buy clothes by the famous Spanish brand in Kyiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, and Kharkov.
