As of today WenMoney Company has introduces a new payment technology “mobile payments”. This technology allows the clients to pay for goods and services from their WebMoney purse (WebMoney Keeper) and confirm this payment by means of a mobile phone.

If a client wants to use this new service, then he should inform a waiter or seller about his intention to pay with WebMoney and give them his mobile phone number. After that a SMS or USSD request come to the given number, this request should be confirmed and then the amount in the check is to be withdrawn from the payer’s purse in favor of a seller. Commission rate is 0,8%.

Nowadays, using this technology you can pay for goods or services in Kiev restaurant “Shlyapa” and shop “Dinamo”. According to Nikolay Biryuk, Head of “WebMoney Mobile Payments”, in the future such technology will be used at the cash-desks of largest Ukrainian supermarkets and retail chains.

We’d like to remind that in January this year the users of WebMoney received a possibility to cash money from their purses in the branches of “Ukrposhta”. In December in Ukraine WebMoney launched payment acceptance through special terminals, banks and Internet-banking.
