Google has announced the results of the study, which provides insight into the behavior of users during the search, selection and purchase of goods of different categories as well as the goals due to which Ukrainian users often use the Internet.
Today offline purchases still dominate online but the quantity of online ones continues to grow.
Among the channels of online search the leading position is occupied by landline Internet (88% of users) but as the study shows the share of searches with mobile devices usage is growing rapidly – 23% of users looks for the information via mobile, smart phones and tablets before buying goods.
All goods categories are actively marketed through the Internet. The top three includes categories such as retail, consumer and cosmetics products, technologies. The most popular online purchases are clothing and accessories, small household appliances and mobile telephones. The online share of air tickets purchase and hotel reservations is also rapidly growing.
